About this opportunity
Defense Logistics Agency Distribution seeks to establish a firm-fixed-price purchase order for safety shoes supporting DLA Distribution Albany Georgia (DDAG), with quotations due July 15, 2026 at 1:00 PM EDT. This is a 100% small business set-aside.
Place of performance is Albany, Georgia at 814 Radford Boulevard, Building 1221, Bay 5. The contractor must operate an outside-sourced safety shoe vendor located within 30 minutes of DDAG, maintaining in-stock inventory of at least five different styles or brands of steel-toe work boots and at least three different styles or brands of steel-toe sneakers, all meeting ANSI/OSHA specifications, with capability to provide specialized shoes for medical conditions. The vendor must allow undamaged returns within three days and bill monthly. The government provides a $165.00 annual subsidy per employee; charges exceeding this amount must be paid in cash by the employee at point of sale and collected by the contractor.
The requirement covers approximately 225 safety shoes annually for regular employees and 5 reasonable accommodation safety shoes per year, totaling 230 pairs annually. The contract consists of a one-year base period (August 1, 2026 through July 31, 2027) with two optional one-year renewals. NAICS code is 316210, Footwear Manufacturing, with a 1,000-employee size standard; PSC is 8430.
Award will be made on an all-or-none basis to the responsive, responsible quoter offering the lowest overall price using the Lowest Technically Acceptable Price evaluation method. Evaluation considers technical capability, past performance (evaluated as acceptable or unacceptable using Supplier Performance Risk System and CPARS data), and price. Contractor personnel must hold a valid driver's license, vehicle registration, proof of insurance, and obtain visitor badges through the security office. Service Contract Act Wage Determination No. 2015-4467 applies. Quotations must be submitted electronically via email to samuel.tustin@dla.mil with SAM registration and UEI required.
