About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office published a Special Notice to award a sole source contract to Four Points Technology, LLC. The notice seeks to procure the TrackCore implant tracking software valued at $68,454.05 for use across Veterans Health Administration facilities.
TrackCore is the only implant tracking software that meets all requirements for managing chain of custody for tissues and surgical implants within VHA facilities, including hosting on the VAEC Cloud and integration with Cerner as the future VA EHR. The justification cites authority to award this contract on a sole source basis through the CIO-CS Federal Supply Schedule contract as TrackCore is an item peculiar to one manufacturer. The estimated value is $68,454.05 and the notice includes a justification approved on February 1, 2022 for limiting competition to Four Points Technology as TrackCore is currently used under sole source contracts by multiple VISNs to track implants at their medical centers.
