About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 17 is conducting market research for a pre-solicitation contract opportunity to provide water quality monitoring, water sample collection, and water microbiological testing services, including Legionella testing, for the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System. The contractor must maintain the existing continuous water quality monitoring equipment and provide comparable replacement equipment as needed. The monitoring system must have specific capabilities, such as cellular cloud-based alerts, full integration, and data logging and reporting. Interested contractors must provide their SAM UEI, business socioeconomic category, the name of the laboratory to be used and applicable accreditations, and details on their ability to assume performance of services without a break in monitoring during a transition.

This is not a set-aside procurement, and the incumbent or current contractor is not named. The contract will have a base year plus four option years. While the specific award value is not provided, the government files indicate detailed requirements regarding sample types, protocols, building information, quality control, and personnel. The deadline for responses to the market research is November 18, 2024.
