This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for water quality monitoring, water sample collection, and water microbiological testing (including Legionella) for the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS).
The SOW covers a base year plus four option years and requires the contractor to provide services at the Waco, Austin, and Temple campuses, and potentially other outpatient clinics and Vet Centers in the region. The contractor must collect and analyze water samples for various contaminants, including Legionella, total coliform, E. coli, and heterotrophic plate count. The contractor must also maintain the existing continuous water quality monitoring equipment and provide comparable replacement equipment if needed. Specific capabilities are required for the monitoring system, including cellular cloud-based alerts, full integration, and data logging and reporting. The SOW includes detailed requirements for sample types, protocols, building information, quality control, and personnel. The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation for market research to identify qualified contractors capable of providing the required services.
