About this opportunity

The US Army Contracting Command-Redstone Services & IT Solution Branch is conducting market research through this Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential sources for calibration and/or repair services of Automated Mass Handlers. The procurement involves servicing two Fluke PG7000-AMH Automated Mass Handlers (serial numbers 2694 and 2345) that are components of a pneumatic cross float system requiring precise mass adjustments to meet mission accuracy requirements. Contractors must provide accredited calibration services to ensure mass adjustment meets uncertainty requirements within 20 parts per million (ppm), with all work to be performed at the contractor's facilities. The RFI requires respondents to provide company information including business size, socio-economic status, points of contact, CAGE code, Unique Entity Identifier, and GSA contract numbers if applicable. Responses must be submitted by August 21, 2025 at 4:00 PM CDT via email to the designated contracting officers, with no phone calls accepted.

This opportunity does not include any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified contractors regardless of size or socio-economic status. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the documentation, suggesting this may be a new requirement or the government is exploring alternative sourcing options. The RFI does not specify budget ranges or potential award values, focusing instead on market research and capability assessment. The procurement involves exactly two units of specialized test equipment, with the government covering shipping costs from the USATA facility to the contractor's location within 48 hours of contract award notification. Work will be delivered to Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, with contractors authorized to return-ship and invoice individual units as completed to reduce overall turnaround time.
