About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Clothing and Textiles is seeking vendors to produce Mechanics Coveralls in Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP) under a federal contract. The coveralls must be manufactured in accordance with the MIL-DTL-32082B specification and meet requirements for fabric, shade evaluation, packaging, and inspection. Interested vendors are required to submit a Product Demonstration Model coverall for evaluation and to produce both the PDM and the production quantity at the same facility. The evaluation criteria includes visual examination, dimensional examination, and manufacturing operations. Vendors must respond by the deadline of December 14, 2024 at 5:00PM EST.

This procurement is not set-aside and is open to all qualified vendors. The contract will be subject to the Berry Amendment, requiring all components to be of domestic origin. The estimated 60-month ordering period has a guaranteed minimum quantity of 15,000 coveralls and a maximum quantity of 375,000 coveralls. Vendors are requested to provide unit pricing for each annual tier and information on their manufacturing capabilities, lead times, and cost ratios. This is a market research survey to determine an acquisition strategy, not a request for bid or proposal.
