About this file
This document is a detailed technical specification, MIL-DTL-32082B, that covers the requirements for coveralls made from camouflage printed cotton/nylon twill cloth intended to be worn by mechanics in the Department of the Army as a protective garment over cold weather clothing.
The specification covers the types and sizes of the coveralls, materials and construction requirements, finished measurements, and quality/inspection criteria. It references several MIL-SPECS and commercial standards for components like thread, fastener tape, zippers, and elastic webbing. First article inspection and conformance inspection requirements are also detailed. The coveralls must be Berry Amendment compliant, with all components of domestic origin.
The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation from DLA Troop Support seeking interested vendors to produce the subject coveralls in accordance with this specification. The anticipated response date is December 14, 2024 and the coveralls must meet the requirements of MIL-DTL-32082B.
