About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Medical is issuing a Corporate Exigency Contract (CEC) Solicitation for aeromedically certified defibrillator/monitor-recorders. The intent is to establish long-term partnerships with manufacturers to provide sustainment support for these devices during military contingency operations, humanitarian efforts, and emergency relief. Proposed items must be airworthiness certified by all military services at the time of solicitation closing. The evaluation will consider technical acceptability, pricing, and an exit strategy where vendors provide fully assembled devices at the end of the contract. The solicitation has a closing date of June 24, 2024 and the resulting contract will include a 1-year base period with 4 one-year option periods.

This is an unrestricted solicitation under NAICS code 339112 - Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. The Government plans to award up to 3 contracts. The place of performance is Philadelphia, PA. There are no set-aside designations, and the Government has not disclosed any potential incumbent contractors or budget ranges for the contract.

Notice text

The Medical Equipment Corporate Exigency Contract (CEC) for the group of Patient Movement Items (PMI) Program is designed to provide sustainment material to meet the Military Services' requirements in times of contingency operations. Contingency operations include providing logistical support to military operations, humanitarian and emergency or urgent relief efforts performed under the authority of the military. CEC awards establish long term partnerships with manufacturers to provide this sustainment support.

The intent is to buy access to material by partnering with industry versus purchasing material and storing in Government facilities. We are buying access to aeromedically certified defibrillator/monitor-recorders. In order to be considered for award, proposed items must be aeromedically certified by all services at time of solicitation closing. The award will include 1 base year and 4 one-year option periods.
