About this opportunity

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ) under solicitation number 70T05025Q7672N002 for gravity roller conveyors and components to be used in inline baggage screening systems at airports. The procurement seeks to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for various conveyor equipment including gravity roller conveyors in 3', 5', and 10' lengths, curved rigid gravity roller conveyors, support legs, lift gates, flexible roller conveyors, and ball transfer tables with widths ranging from 24" to 36". All equipment must meet precise technical specifications including 10-gauge steel frames, powder coat finishes in neutral colors (black, white, or similar), zinc rollers, sealed bearings, and polyurethane roller covers. The evaluation will use a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) method with technical acceptability based on meeting Statement of Work specifications and price evaluation based on total evaluated cost. The original deadline for questions was September 10, 2025, at 12:00 PM EST, with quotes originally due September 12, 2025, at 12:00 PM EST, but Amendment 1 has extended the quote deadline to September 19, 2025.

This procurement is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside with no incumbent contractors identified in the documentation. The Schedule of Supplies contains 102 line items across four ordering periods, though specific award values or budget ranges are not disclosed in the solicitation materials. The BPA will have a five-year ordering period with delivery requirements of 60 calendar days for Continental United States (CONUS) destinations and 45 calendar days for Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) locations. All equipment must be new (not refurbished or remanufactured) and come with a mandatory one-year total replacement warranty, with submitted pricing required to remain valid for a minimum of 12 months from the BPA award date. The place of performance is listed as Springfield, Virginia, though the conveyor systems will be deployed to airports throughout CONUS and OCONUS locations for 24/7 baggage screening operations.
