The contractor must mobilize within 10 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed and complete all work within 45 calendar days. Liquidated damages of COP$100,000 per day apply for delays beyond the 45-day completion period.

The contractor must furnish performance security at 50% of contract price (reducible to 10% after substantial completion), general liability insurance with the United States as additional insured, wage payment and social benefits policy coverage at 30% of contract value, and work quality and stability insurance at 50% of contract value valid for three years post-completion. All work must comply with OSHA standards or Colombian safety regulations, whichever is more stringent. Contractors must submit personnel for Regional Security Office vetting approximately six weeks prior to work commencement. Enclosed is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for Compound Perimeter Path Asphalt repair.

The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract based on initial proposals, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.

Site visit will be held on August 14, 2026 at 09:00, if you are interested in participating send an e-mail  to BogotaGSOCompras@state.gov with complete information of your company representatives before August 6, 2026 including the names and ID representative (just one per company)

Question will be received before August 18 ,2026 at 4:00 Pm to BogotaGSOCompras@state.gov.  Quotations are due by August 27, 2026 at 16:00 hours.   No quotations will be accepted after this time. Quotations must be in English and incomplete quotations will not be accepted.
