About this opportunity
The Special Notice is from the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), Medium Range Recovery (MRR) program. It announces an Industry Day event focused on identifying companies with expertise in complex composite manufacturing and repair to support the USCG's H-60 helicopter fleet and fleet expansion. The USCG is conducting market research to find vendors capable of producing and repairing composite parts such as floorboards, panels, and ducts.
The purpose of the Industry Day is to provide an overview of the USCG's requirements and allow vendors to examine sample parts. Interested companies must register by July 31, 2024, and are limited to two attendees per firm. Vendors must demonstrate composite manufacturing and repair capabilities, be ISO, AS9110, or similarly compliant, and have the ability to reverse engineer sample parts and provide fully dimensional drawings. This is not a request for proposals or quotes, and the USCG will not pay any costs associated with vendor participation. The Industry Day event is scheduled for August 8, 2024, at the USCG Base in Elizabeth City, North Carolina and is open to U.S. citizens only.
