About this file
This document is a set of Questions and Answers related to an upcoming Industry Day event hosted by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) on composite manufacture and repair capabilities. The event is part of market research being conducted by the USCG's Medium Range Recovery (MRR) program to identify companies that can provide complex composite work, such as manufacturing and repair, to support the current USCG H60 fleet and planned fleet expansion. The Industry Day is scheduled for August 8, 2024, and is open to U.S. citizens with demonstrated expertise in composite manufacturing and repair who are ISO, AS9110, or similarly compliant. The questions address event logistics, such as whether companies need to re-register, and clarify that no list of parts will be provided prior to the event. Vendors will have an opportunity to examine sample parts on-site and provide follow-up information on their capabilities after the event. This is not a solicitation, and the USCG will not pay any costs associated with vendor participation.
