About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Reserve Command's 434th Contracting Squadron at Grissom Air Reserve Base, Indiana, seeks complete turnkey installation of six dedicated electrical circuits in Buildings 427 and 671, with quotes due August 14, 2026, and mandatory questions due August 4. This is a total small business set-aside (NAICS 238210). Amendment 0001, effective July 23, 2026, removes the prior CMMC Level 2 certification requirement entirely.

Place of performance is Grissom ARB, Indiana. The scope comprises four 240V/208V 30-ampere circuits with NEMA L6-30R locking receptacles and two 125V 15-ampere circuits with NEMA L5-15R locking receptacles, sourced from existing Eaton Model 9393 Datacenter UPS (50 kVA) and Building 427 panel H and Building 671 XTREME Model M90 UPS (15 kVA), with approximately 25-foot conduit runs using minimum 10 AWG copper wire, code-compliant routing, new breaker installation, and comprehensive testing and grounding verification. All work, testing, and government acceptance must be completed by August 10, 2026, with a period of performance of September 1–30, 2026. The contractor provides all labor, materials, equipment, breakers, conduit, wiring, receptacles, and testing on a firm fixed-price basis.

A mandatory site visit is required July 30, 2026, at 1:00 PM EST; failure to attend renders quotes ineligible. Contractor personnel require background checks, vehicle passes, and base identification badges, with mandatory escort in Building 427 Datacenter (secure controlled area). Work is subject to the 2009 International Building Code, National Electrical Code, NFPA 13, Architectural Barriers Act, and Defense Intelligence Agency Construction Security Plan. Service Contract Act wage determination WD 2015-4809, Revision 33, applies. Award uses Lowest Priced, Technically Acceptable methodology evaluated on Pass/Fail basis for technical acceptability and past performance, with price as the deciding factor.
