About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Space Command seeks commercial internet services at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, with proposals due May 28, 2026, at 3:00 PM PDT. The procurement is a total small business set-aside (NAICS 517111, 1,500-employee size standard).
Amendment 1, issued May 14, 2026, extended the due date from April 20 and revised the period of performance from May 1, 2026–April 30, 2031, to August 1, 2026–July 31, 2031. All revised quotes must acknowledge and reflect the updated performance period.
The 18th Space Defense Squadron and U.S. Space Forces–Space require an unfiltered network access point to resources provided by commercial partners otherwise inaccessible through Department of War networks. Contractor shall deliver stable 1 Gbps commercial internet connectivity to two demarcation points: Building 7000 (S4S, 816 13th Street) and Building 8401 (18 SDS, 1521 Utah Ave), both at Vandenberg SFB, CA 93437. Each location requires one static IPv4 /29 block. Circuit diversity is not required; a single, non-redundant circuit to each location is acceptable. The contractor performs all installation activities to the demarcation point; the Government furnishes network transport from demarcation to end-user locations within each facility. The contractor must coordinate access with facility security offices and obtain all necessary base access passes.
Pricing is firm fixed-price, including non-recurring installation and setup charges (Item 0001) due by August 1, 2026, followed by 12-month service periods for both buildings (Items 0002–0003 for the base period and option line items 1001–4002 covering four one-year extension options through July 31, 2031). Award goes to the lowest-priced technically acceptable offer based on evaluation of technical approach, feasible installation plan meeting the August 1 start date, and understanding of Statement of Work requirements. Electronic submissions must address both points of contact: Jeffrey Weeks (jeffrey.weeks.5@spaceforce.mil) and Scott Yeaple (Scott.yeaple@spaceforce.mil).
