About this opportunity

The 375th Contracting Squadron at Scott Air Force Base, on behalf of Air Mobility Command, is conducting market research for the possible procurement of a four-operator console system upgrade, with responses due by September 16, 2026. This posting is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a formal solicitation.

The requirement calls for one integrated four-operator console system configured in an "L" shape with outside dimensions of 21'4.5" by 20'10.25". The system must comprise four updated multi-level console desks equipped with electric sit/stand lift columns rated for at least 800N per column, supporting Harris System telephonic communication equipment. Work surfaces require 1-1/8" laminated medium-density fiberboard with laminate finish, urethane "Comfort Edge" molding with antibacterial and antifungal additives, and 13 color options. Each console position includes four single-tier and two double-tier monitor arms, two task lights, two laptop docking stations, four desktop fans, two touch screen controllers, two ceramic heaters, power management equipment, CPU towers (SIPR and NIPR), and associated cabling. All equipment must be new and unused with manufacturing and delivery lead time not exceeding 12 weeks from order and color selection confirmation.

The consoles support 24/7 All-Domain Command & Control operations serving the Wing Commander, 36 mission partners, USTRANSCOM, three wings, and four Direct Reporting Units for command and control responses and Emergency Action Messages protecting approximately 20,000 Scott AFB personnel. Current equipment is over 16 years old and at risk of failure. Installation occurs at Building 470, Room 125, during standard working hours (0800–1600, Monday–Friday) with the contractor responsible for coordinating around normal facility operations. Personnel must meet security requirements including background checks via LEADS, Eagle Eyes and AT Level I training, valid identification badges, vehicle registration, and controlled area access protocols.
