About this opportunity

The Tennessee Air National Guard's 134th Air Refueling Wing is seeking electrical circuit installation services through solicitation W50S98-25-Q-0014, specifically requiring the installation of two Eaton 480V 80A 3-phase bolt-in breakers to connect new UPS systems to Power Distribution Units (PDUs) at McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base. The project involves furnishing and installing the electrical breakers, associated conduit and cabling work, and making final electrical connections, with the objective of remediating an incomplete original installation to bring critical data center equipment into fully operational status. A mandatory site visit was conducted on July 31, 2025, and interested contractors must submit all questions in writing by August 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM EST. The government will evaluate quotes based on price and past performance, awarding to the offer representing the best value. Final quotes are due August 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM EST, and must remain valid through September 30, 2025.

This procurement is designated as a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS code 238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors) with a size standard of $19.0 million. The contract is structured as a firm fixed price arrangement with a 5-day performance period, to be executed during normal business hours (0730-1630) Monday through Friday. Work will be performed at 125 Briscoe Drive, Louisville, Tennessee 37777, within the secure military facility requiring advance registration and REAL ID compliance for site access. While specific contract values are not disclosed in the available documentation, the project involves installing two electrical circuits and removing existing legacy conduit and cabling, with all work requiring qualified Data Center Technicians to ensure no disruption to other critical data center equipment. The contracting point of contact is TSgt Andrew Headrick, who can be reached at andrew.headrick@us.af.mil or (865) 336-3351.
