The basic requirement consists of one PC1L1 Vacuum Chamber, one PC1L0 Vacuum Chamber, four units of 6.0CF collimator chambers, and two units of 4.5CF collimator chambers, with five optional line items available for additional batches of 6.0CF chambers for various beamlines with quantities ranging from one to nine units per option. All chambers must be delivered within 20 weeks after contract award and include nitrogen backfilling, UHV cleaning, vacuum baking at 250°C for 48 hours minimum, and residual gas analysis testing at 150°C to meet SLAC vacuum policy requirements. The subcontract is firm fixed price with Net 30 payment terms. Performance of work will take place in Menlo Park, California 94025, where SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is located.
