About this opportunity

This is a sole-source procurement restricted to Phillips Corporation, Federal Division (CAGE 3MPQ0), based on requirement for form, fit, and functionally interchangeable spare parts for an existing machine beyond economical repair critical to active submarine refit and Columbia-class program schedules.
Place of performance is Silverdale, Washington (Building 7000, Door 12, NAVIMFAC PACNORWEST). The machine must be NRTL certified and comply with OSHA CFR Title 29 Part 1910, Subparts O and S. The procurement requires removal and disposal of the existing HAAS EC-1600 machine, delivery of two hard copies each of NRTL certification reports, operation and maintenance manuals with complete electrical and mechanical schematics, and five days of on-site training by a HAAS Certified Applications Engineer. All work must be completed within 180 days post-award. Warranty is the manufacturer's standard commercial warranty for one year or manufacturer's standard, whichever is greater, commencing from acceptance and provided by a factory authorized distributor.
Contractors must comply with extensive site-specific requirements for the Trident Refit Facility including OSHA, NFPA, ACI, ASME, AWS, and Washington State environmental noise standards; lockout/tagout procedures; hazardous material inventory approval; load testing of lift points to 125 percent working load limit; DBIDS base access credentials obtained minimum 10 business days in advance; and US citizenship for operational area access. Regular working hours are 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. All deliverables are firm fixed price. NAICS code is 333998; PSC code is 3417.
