About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Tinker Air Force Base is seeking proposals to design, develop, integrate, test, and deliver an increased capacity latrine for the C/KC-135 aircraft. The latrine must have a minimum capacity of 8 gallons, fit within existing footprints, and operate from -40 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Offerors must provide engineering and certification support, logistics kits, travel, spare parts, and contract data in accordance with the SOW and CDRL. Proposals are due by the date specified in block 8 of the draft solicitation, with award anticipated within 30 days thereafter.
The opportunity is set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 336413. The PSC code relates to aircraft parts and auxiliary equipment. Incumbent contractors have provided latrines for other aircraft programs. Budget estimates were not disclosed, but the requirement is for replacement of all latrines across the C/KC-135 fleet over an unspecified period of performance. Offerors must demonstrate the ability to produce quantities sufficient to meet the Air Force's needs.
