About this opportunity
The US Geological Survey is seeking vendors to provide annual maintenance services for Cisco networking equipment across various Alaska locations through RFQ 140G0325Q0079. The procurement covers maintenance for multiple Cisco devices including ISR 4321 UC Bundle systems, VG310 voice systems, and various Catalyst switches (2960-CX, 2960-X, and 3850 models) located at USGS facilities in Fairbanks, Juneau, and the Alaska Science Center. Vendors must demonstrate technical qualifications and experience through comprehensive submissions including a signed SF 18 form, technical capabilities documentation, prior contract references, and firm fixed-price quotes for both base and option years. The government will evaluate proposals using a tradeoff method that considers both technical capabilities and pricing. The deadline for questions was July 11, 2025, and the response deadline has been extended to August 1, 2025, at 1500 PST, with submissions accepted only via email to yangzhideng@usgs.gov.
This procurement is not set aside for small businesses and falls under NAICS code 811210 for Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a standard business size threshold of $34 million. No current incumbents or contractors are specifically mentioned in the solicitation documents. The contract includes a base performance period from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026, with four potential option years extending through August 31, 2030, subject to fund availability. The maintenance services will cover approximately 3 Cisco ISR 4321 UC Bundle systems, 1 Cisco VG310 voice system, and multiple Catalyst switches distributed across USGS facilities throughout Alaska. All contract performance will occur at various locations within Alaska, supporting the USGS Alaska Science Center's networking infrastructure requirements across the state's remote and distributed facilities.
