About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure 3 units of Circuit Card Assemblies under NSN 1R-5998-LLF02M349-CB, reference number 325A850-1MHDK. This is a sole source requirement where the government lacks sufficient, accurate, or legible data to contract with sources other than the current approved supplier. Contractors must obtain Government Source Approval prior to award, and those not already approved must submit detailed information per the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure available online. The procurement is subject to Free Trade Agreements and World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement requirements under FAR clauses 52.225-3 and 52.225-5. Delivery terms specify FOB origin, and the due date for responses is August 21, 2025, with interested parties directed to contact Dana Scott at dana.l.scott14.civ@us.navy.mil for questions.
This opportunity does not utilize any set-aside designations and appears to be open to all qualified sources, though the sole source nature suggests a specific incumbent supplier currently provides these components. The contract involves the procurement of exactly 3 circuit card assemblies with Denmark-specific unique nomenclature, indicating specialized military electronic components. No specific award value or budget range is disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice. The extended timeline from the December 19, 2024 posting date to the August 21, 2025 due date provides approximately eight months for potential contractors to complete the source approval process and prepare their submissions. The requirement falls under PSC category 5998 for Electrical and Electronic Assemblies, Boards, Cards, and Associated Hardware.
