About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure seven (7) circuit card assemblies and similar replacement parts under NSN 7H-5998-016010036, TDP VER 002, with delivery FOB origin. This procurement falls under the electrical and electronic assemblies, boards, cards, and associated hardware category and must be acquired from or repaired by sources specified on source control or selected item drawings as defined by DoD-STD-100. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1 authority due to lack of suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing/repair knowledge to permit acquisition from alternative sources. Interested parties may submit capability statements or identify their interest within 15 days of the notice if they can satisfy the requirement with a commercial item. The due date for this pre-solicitation is July 9, 2025, and all firms must include their CAGE code on solicitation requests.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all responsible sources who can demonstrate capability to meet the specialized requirements. No specific incumbent contractors or potential award values are mentioned in the notice, though the quantity is clearly specified as seven units. The contract will require compliance with DoD-STD-100 standards and the contractor must have access to the necessary technical data or manufacturing knowledge that the Government lacks. Delivery terms are specified as FOB origin, meaning the contractor will be responsible for transportation costs and risk until the goods are shipped from their facility. The specialized nature of these circuit card assemblies suggests this is likely a high-value, technically complex procurement requiring demonstrated expertise in defense electronics manufacturing or repair capabilities.
