About this opportunity
The U.S. Embassy in Paris, France is issuing a solicitation for Chocolate Gratuities. The Government intends to award a fixed-price contract to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The solicitation requires the delivery of 700 boxes of assorted chocolates in two different sizes - smaller boxes containing a minimum of 200g and larger boxes containing a minimum of 350g. The chocolates must be fresh with little to no preservatives and have an expiration date between 3-12 months from the delivery date of December 4, 2024. The smaller boxes must be wooden with the Department of State eagle emblem engraved, while the larger boxes must be metal with the "Liberation 80" logo printed on them. All boxes will also display one of three specified text phrases. Offerors must submit their quotations electronically to the ParisContracting@state.gov email address by September 20, 2024 at 11:00am local time.

The Embassy of the United States in Paris, France, is releasing a solicitation for Chocolate Gratuities.
The Government intends to award the contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion.
The resultant contract will be a fixed price contract.
All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register at the earliest stage.
