About this opportunity

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) awarded a sole-source Firm-Fixed-Price Delivery Order to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (a Lockheed Martin subsidiary) on January 28, 2026, under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-23-G-0002 for tooling to support CH-53K Gearbox and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations. The awarded delivery order is valued at $9,542,931 and represents a subset of a broader BOA with an estimated total value of $492 million across fiscal years 2026-2028. The scope of work under the broader BOA encompasses engineering support, development and manufacturing of Engineering Change Proposals, obsolescence management, systems integration and modeling, procurement of forward-fit and retrofit kits with spare parts, and integrated logistics support including technical manuals and support equipment maintenance, with authorization extending through September 30, 2028. Sikorsky was selected as the sole source due to its exclusive status as the original equipment manufacturer and sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the CH-53K helicopter system, possessing requisite technical data, facilities, and expertise that no other responsible source can provide.
