Contractors must have an active SAM.gov registration and be technically proficient in marine engine systems. The proposal is due by April 15, 2025, with a preferred completion date of May 8, 2025, and technical questions can be directed to ENS Charles Mason or LCDR Ryan Konze.
The solicitation is set aside for total small business participation and will result in a firm fixed price purchase order. The place of performance is the U.S. Coast Guard Base in Seattle, Washington, located at 1519 Alaskan Way South, with the actual repair work to be conducted at a contractor's facility within 100 miles of the base. The Coast Guard will provide transportation of the vessel to the selected contractor's location. Invoicing for this contract will be processed through the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP), requiring vendors to have access to www.ipp.gov and submit detailed invoices with specific documentation. While no specific award value is mentioned, the solicitation indicates that all acquisitions expected to exceed $10,000 can be found on SAM.GOV. Payment terms are NET 30, in accordance with the FAR 52.232-25 Prompt Payment clause, and contractors will be required to submit comprehensive diagnostic reports and conduct operational testing in the presence of a Coast Guard Inspector.
