About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for engine, auxiliary, and jet drive repairs for a U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Boat Large (CG 26321), a 26-foot vessel with a Cummins QSB 6.7 480hp diesel engine and Hamilton HJ292 jet drive. The SOW details seven specific work items including diesel engine service, raw water heating system replacement, jet drive service, engine cooler rebuild, bilge pump re-wiring, watertight hatch and gasket repair, and engine start failure troubleshooting.
The repair work will be conducted at a contractor's facility within 100 miles of Coast Guard Base Seattle, with the Coast Guard providing boat transportation. The preferred completion date is May 8th, 2025, under solicitation number 70Z08525PSEAT0022. The contract is a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order for commercial items, requiring contractors to have an active SAM.gov registration. Technical questions should be directed to ENS Charles Mason, and invoicing will be processed through IPP (Invoice Processing Platform). The work requires detailed diagnostic reporting, operational testing in the presence of a Coast Guard Inspector, and adherence to specific technical publications and environmental protection requirements.
