About this opportunity

This solicitation seeks proposals for a five-year contract to modernize cultural resource data and develop predictive models for the United States Forest Service Region 6. The contractor will enter approximately 59,800 cultural resource records and 49,000 reports from 16 forests and one national scenic area into the agency's Natural Resources Manager Heritage database. Using the completed data, the contractor must develop predictive models for the location of pre-contact historic properties for each forest unit. Proposals will be evaluated based on the offeror's technical approach and past performance, with the contract awarded to the most advantageous proposal at a reasonable price. Proposals are due by February 27, 2023.

The opportunity is set aside for total small businesses with average annual revenue under $24.5 million. The primary NAICS code is 541611 and PSC code R425. The solicitation includes 17 line items for optional data entry and predictive modeling services across multiple forests through 2028. The first three forest units must have all required compliance data and site records entered within six months of award. Predictive models for each forest unit must be developed within four months using available data layers.
