About this opportunity
The National Institutes of Health Office of Logistics and Acquisition Operations intends to solicit a one-year service agreement for preventive maintenance and technical support of a CellInsight CX7 laser-based fluorescence imaging system, with a response deadline of May 28, 2026. The MATRICES Lab at the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering requires coverage following warranty expiration to prevent equipment loss, damage, or elevated repair costs that would compromise laboratory operations.
Place of performance is the MATRICES Lab in Bethesda, Maryland (Building 35A, Room GD930, 9000 Rockville Pike), with a delivery date of approximately April 1, 2026.
The contractor must provide yearly preventative maintenance visits including travel fees, technical support via phone, email, and web access, and priority service scheduling with service requests tiered according to three severity levels specified in the vendor quote. The system is a laser-based fluorescence imaging platform critical for tissue disease progression and protease research.
No security requirements, government-furnished property, or government-furnished information apply. Invoices must be submitted via two-way invoicing to the Department of Treasury's Invoice Processing Platform and to NHLBIContractsBranchB@mail.nih.gov. The primary point of contact is Audrey Noguchi (audrey.noguchi@nih.gov), with Hannah Song Lee as alternate contact.
Notice text
The MATRICES Lab has a CX7 CellInsight system, which is a laser-based fluorescence imaging system, capable of producing high resolution imaging of various research samples. This system has not yet received annual preventive maintenance following the expiration of the warranty and is critical for lab operations. Failure to enact coverage of this system could result in loss or damage to the equipment or higher costs to repair it, resulting in a significant loss in investment.
