About this opportunity

The Bureau of Land Management Nevada Region seeks annual inspection, servicing, repair, and recharging of fire extinguishers at five Nevada facilities, with quotes due June 10, 2026, and questions due June 2. The procurement is designated for women-owned small businesses (WOSB), and the contract consists of a base period from June 15, 2026 to May 31, 2027, plus four option years extending through January 31, 2031.

Place of performance includes Carson City District Office, Palomino Valley Fire Station, Stead Air Tanker Base, Silver State Hot Shot Operations Center, and Cold Springs Fire Station. Services include inspection of handles, safety pins, operating handles, pressure gauges, cylinders, syphon tubes, discharge hoses, and nozzles; disassembly for internal component inspection; and replacement or recharging of extinguishing agents as required. Hydro-testing is excluded from contract scope. Services must be completed within 30 days of scheduled service dates and performed during normal business hours (0800–1630 Monday–Friday) excluding federal holidays. The contractor supplies all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, and mileage; no government-furnished property is provided. Contracting officers are Nakea Hughes and Carey Grund (nakea_hughes@ios.doi.gov, carey_grund@ios.doi.gov). Amendment 0001 was posted May 26, 2026.
