The scope of work encompasses cleaning approximately 73 catch basins and manholes, 5 catch basins with pumps, 9 floor drains, and approximately 20 sediment separators with manholes, including removal of debris such as sand, dirt, mud, organic material, leaves, and trash from catch basins, manholes, and street gutters within 20 feet in each direction. Contractors must provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, and supervision necessary to complete the work, with proper disposal of all collected debris off-site and strict adherence to environmental protocols regarding water discharge. This is a Sources Sought Notice for market research purposes, not a formal request for proposals, meaning no pricing information or contract award will result from this announcement. Interested vendors must submit their capability statements, company information, SAM UEI number, and point of contact details via email to Contract Specialist Craig Brown at craig.brown7@va.gov by March 17, 2026 at 5:00 PM Pacific Time.
The procurement is not subject to any set-aside designations and will be awarded under NAICS code 561210 (Facilities Support Services) with a $47 million business size standard for a Base Plus Four (1) year contract structure. No incumbent contractor or current service provider is identified in this pre-solicitation notice. The contract value range has not been disclosed at this pre-solicitation stage, as this announcement is intended to gather market intelligence rather than solicit formal bids or pricing proposals. The work is ongoing on an annual basis at the Boise VAMC facility located at 500 West Fort Street, Boise, Idaho 83702-4599, requiring consistent performance of catch basin maintenance services throughout each contract year. Contractors should note that clean storm water may be pumped onto VA grounds, but water containing oil or debris must be removed from the facility, demonstrating the environmental sensitivity of this procurement.
