About this opportunity
This Special Notice is soliciting proposals for the Candidate Development Support Services III contract issued by the Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command. The CDSS III contract aims to provide regionally-based subject matter experts to deliver mentorship and a structured development program for candidates interested in Special Warfare and Combat Support career fields in the Air Force.
The objective is to enhance early engagement with recruits and better prepare individuals for the physical and mental demands of initial skills training through career guidance, coaching on areas like nutrition, strength and conditioning, and mental resilience. Contractors must submit proposals by September 24, 2021 and will deliver services over a potential four-year base period of performance starting in December 2021. This is a 100% small business set-aside requiring offerors to provide qualified personnel to administer programs at recruiting squadrons and military installations in specified regions. Pricing proposals, past performance, and technical submissions are required and will be evaluated using best value criteria, with past performance being the most important factor.

Regionally deliver SW/CS professionally and technically experiencedpersonnel to inspire SW/CS candidates through mentorship and a structured development process. Contracted personnel shall provide Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) insight and job knowledge to better inform the candidate on their Air Force career choice. Contractor shall provide coaching on nutrition, strength/conditioning training, and mental resiliency as well as set and monitor targeted fitness goals/expectations for the candidates. The candidate development program is aimed to both regionally enhance first-contact with accessions as well as mentally/physically prepare individual candidates for the enduring demands of the SW/CS initial skills training.
