About this opportunity
The United States Army Mission Installation Contracting Command - Yuma Proving Ground (MICC-YPG) issued this Special Notice on December 15, 2025, regarding calibration services for laser bore inspection system and linear variable displacement transducer stargage sensors. This is a Notice of Intent to award a noncompetitive, Firm-Fixed Price requirements-type contract to Laser Techniques Company, LLC, the Original Equipment Manufacturer and sole proprietor of the equipment's proprietary data and patent rights. The contract will support the Metrology and Simulation Division at Yuma Proving Ground in Arizona. The procurement falls under the Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance category (NAICS 811210) and the Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuild of Equipment–Instruments and Laboratory Equipment product service code (PSC J066). This is not a request for competitive proposals, though the government retains discretion to proceed competitively based on responses received.
Interested firms have until December 23, 2025, at 9:00 AM Mountain Standard Time to demonstrate their technical capability to meet the calibration and maintenance requirements for LBIS and LVDT sensors and calibration rings. All responses must be submitted via email to the Point of Contact, Kristen Long, Contract Specialist, with the subject line "Solicitation Number W9124R26QA004" and must clearly articulate the firm's technical capabilities to perform the work. While no formal set-aside restrictions apply to this opportunity, eligibility is implicitly limited to firms capable of providing specialized calibration services for proprietary laser and sensor equipment, though any firm may submit evidence of capability. The contract is structured as a base year with three option years, and interested parties are encouraged to conduct independent research on equipment specifications given the proprietary nature of the systems involved.
