About this opportunity
The Special Notice is an amendment to solicitation W91YTZ24R0014, issued by the Department of the Army Medical Command. The notice is for the procurement of cadaver specimens and associated logistics to support the agency's semi-annual Combat Trauma Management training events.
The purpose of this Special Notice is to obtain 10 cadaver specimens per fiscal year, with 2 of the 5 cadavers per training event being perfused to replicate active bleeding. The contractor shall provide all necessary supplies and equipment, including PPE, perfusion equipment, and surgical instruments, while the Government will provide Class VIII medical supplies. The contractor is responsible for transporting, storing, and disposing of the cadavers in accordance with applicable regulations. The training will occur over two consecutive days, with one event in the first/second quarter and one in the third/fourth quarter of the fiscal year. The Government will evaluate the contractor's performance using the method of surveillance. This opportunity is set aside for small businesses.
