About this opportunity
The Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service seeks performance-based janitorial services at the California-Nevada Fish Health Center in Anderson, California, with quote submissions due May 28, 2026, at 1300 hours Eastern Daylight Time. This procurement is a woman-owned small business set-aside.
Place of performance is 24411 Coleman Hatchery Road, Anderson, California 96007. The contractor will provide bi-weekly cleaning of two facilities totaling approximately 4,420 square feet: an Administration Building (2,000 square feet) and Laboratory Building (2,420 square feet). Services include dusting and cleaning furniture, vacuuming carpets, sweeping and mopping linoleum floors, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and kitchens, removing cobwebs, emptying waste receptacles, and replacing consumables. Annual tasks include stripping and waxing linoleum floors and cleaning interior and exterior windows. All services must be performed Monday through Friday after 4:00 p.m., excluding federal holidays.
The performance period runs from June 15, 2026, through June 14, 2031—a base year plus four option years. The contractor must provide all cleaning equipment and supplies; the government furnishes trash liners, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and cleaning agents. Compliance with green product standards under Executive Order 13514 is mandatory, requiring environmentally preferable products, low-emitting materials, and sustainable practices. The contractor must maintain security procedures for facility access, implement safety measures, conduct employee background checks, and maintain a sign-in logbook. Unsatisfactory work requires reperformance within 24 hours or results in contract termination. Award uses the tradeoff method based on price, technical capability, and past performance. Quotes must include monthly, yearly, and total pricing for the base year plus all option years. All prospective vendors must be registered in SAM.gov.
