PROGRAM SUMMARY: This is a 5-year, opened-ended Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) to solicit research proposals for the United States Air Force Space Electronics program which will improve performance of space electronics, reduce / eliminate the gap between space / terrestrial electronics through breakthroughs in materials, devices, processes, packaging, and architecture, make high-performance space electronics more affordable and available and simplify the implementation of complex systems using breakthroughs in reconfigurable concepts, electronic devices, and architecture. Multiple awards of contracts and/or assistance instruments of various values are anticipated with a period of performance ranging from 6 months to 60 months. Periodically over the 5-year period, proposal call announcements (CALLS) may be issued through FedBizOps/EPS and GRANTS.GOV/FIND to request proposals for specific research efforts as technical topic areas are identified. These subsequent CALLS will contain specific descriptions of the research effort to be addressed, anticipated period of performance, information peculiar to the specific research technical topic area, and the expected dollar range for proposals received under the CALL.
Interested offerors may view and/or download the full BAA solicitation by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) homepage at http://www.eps.gov. Please direct questions to the points of contact identified in the solicitation.
