About this opportunity
The Air Force Test Center at Edwards Air Force Base is procuring a comprehensive suite of precision calibration equipment through a brand name or equal solicitation for Additel products to support the Bomber Systems Integration Data Lab's pressure, temperature, and process instrumentation testing operations. The required equipment includes automated pressure calibrators capable of generating and measuring vacuum to 15,000 psi with 0.01% full span accuracy, digital pressure modules, hydraulic and pneumatic manifolds with quick-connect interfaces, temperature calibration equipment ranging from -40°C to 1210°C, process calibrators with HART communication capabilities, and calibration asset management software supporting ISO 17025 traceability standards. This Request for Quotation (RFQ F1S0AY5202A005) will be evaluated based on technical acceptability and total price, with quotations being accepted from Additel and its authorized distributors. The solicitation was posted on September 12, 2025, with quotes due the same day, requiring offerors to submit proposals via email including their UEI, CAGE Code, delivery schedule, and warranty terms.
This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designation and will be competed among Additel as the original equipment manufacturer and its authorized distribution channels, as the government conducted market research and identified Additel as providing the proven commercial solution meeting the technical requirements and accuracy standards. While no specific contract value is disclosed in the available documentation, the scope encompasses a modular calibration system designed to reduce reliance on outsourced calibration services and increase mission assurance for bomber test operations. Delivery of the complete calibration suite is required within 180 days after receipt of order to Edwards Air Force Base, California. The procurement follows simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Parts 12 and 13.5 for commercial items, with the government reserving the right to cancel the solicitation and make award to the responsible offeror providing the best value to meet the Bomber Systems Integration Data Lab's precision measurement and calibration requirements.
