This is a brand name or equal acquisition under FAR Part 12 with no set-aside.

Delivery is required to NIOSH at 5555 Ridge Ave, Taft, Ohio, with administrative oversight at CDC in Atlanta. The i-Raman NXG 785S must meet specified salient characteristics: instrument resolution less than 4 cm⁻¹, 785 nm laser wavelength, spectral range 100–3350 cm⁻¹, minimum 300 mW laser power, detector cooling at least –25°C, and battery-powered portability at approximately 12 kg. The procurement includes two SpecSuite software licenses (identification and quantification modules) and one mStat-i M8ONE eight-channel potentiostat/galvanostat/impedance analyzer.

The vendor is responsible for fulfillment, packing, shipping, instrument installation, and operator training: one day onsite for the i-Raman NXG and up to 4 hours online for the mStat-i M8ONE. The i-Raman NXG will connect to an existing CDC laboratory desktop on the ISLE system (CDC Property #357548) running SpecSuite software; NIOSH has submitted a level III approval request. The mStat-i M8ONE will run on DropView software the laboratory currently possesses, with upgrade as needed.

Award will be made on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable basis, with technical acceptability determined by manufacturer specifications and compliance with stated salient characteristics. The contract is firm-fixed-price. Quotations must remain valid for a minimum of 30 calendar days. Submit quotes via email to Marcus Lindsey at yzg2@cdc.gov. NAICS code is 334516; PSC is 6640.
