About this opportunity
The U.S. Embassy in Brasilia is seeking to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for the acquisition of construction materials and supplies to support facility repair and maintenance operations. The procurement covers wood, MDF boards, carpentry tools, plywood sheets, and other related construction materials, with the Embassy intending to award BPAs to vendors that are technically acceptable and can provide supplies at fair and reasonable prices equal to or below prevailing market rates. All materials must be new, unused products complying with U.S. or international standards and include a minimum 12-month warranty. The evaluation criteria focuses on technical acceptability and pricing that meets fair and reasonable standards at or below the vendor's most favored customer rates. The solicitation was posted on July 16, 2025, with responses due by July 30, 2025, submitted electronically via Standard Form 1449 to the specified email addresses.
This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and no incumbent contractors are identified in the solicitation materials. The total estimated purchase volume is up to $29,000 per company, with individual orders under the BPA not exceeding $10,000 USD. The BPA will have a 12-month duration with the potential for a one-year extension, and vendors must ensure no single order surpasses the $10,000 threshold. Payment terms include settlement within 30 days via electronic funds transfer, with monthly invoices required by the 25th of each month. The place of performance is Brasília, Federal District, Brazil, where the U.S. Embassy facilities requiring maintenance and repair services are located.
