About this opportunity

The Department of Defense Washington Headquarters Service, procuring on behalf of the Office of Strategic Capital, has awarded a sole-source contract to Carahsoft Technology Corporation under a limited-source justification for Box Enterprise Plus software licenses on August 13, 2026, with an estimated total value of $115,680.

The justification rests on the successful prior performance of Box licenses under contract HQ003424F0736, awarded September 25, 2024, which performed without significant issues in delivery, activation, vendor support, or administration. This procurement represents an expansion of that initial deployment and will procure 400 licenses across four contract line item numbers (100 licenses per CLIN), including annual software maintenance subscriptions comprising software updates, security patches, cloud hosting, standard technical support, and SaaS hosting. The required solution mandates FedRAMP High and DoD Impact Level 4 authorization, enterprise-scale cloud storage, encryption and advanced identity and access controls, secure file sharing and collaboration, data classification and loss prevention, malware detection, records retention and legal hold, automated workflows, integrated electronic signature, centralized administrative controls, and secure mobile and desktop access. The period of performance is 12 months with four optional 12-month periods. The acquisition proceeds through the Department of War Enterprise Software Initiative Single Award Blanket Purchase Agreement N66001-23-A-0049. Contract N6600123A0049 will be executed on a Firm-Fixed Price basis using Fiscal Year 2026 Operations & Maintenance funding. The Contracting Officer will conduct price analysis under FAR 15.404-1 to ensure fair and reasonable pricing.
