About this opportunity

The Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management Nevada Region seeks herbicide application services covering 7,649 acres of fuelbreak treatment near Antelope Butte and Table Mountain in Nevada, with proposals due July 27, 2026. This is a Total Small Business Set Aside with EDWOSB designation under NAICS 115310.

Place of performance is the Antelope Butte-Table Mountain Midslope Fuelbreak project area in Lander and Eureka Counties, Nevada, encompassing the guaranteed Antelope Butte Unit and the government-option Table Mountain Unit (1,651 additional acres). The contract runs from September 15, 2026, through December 30, 2026.

The solicitation requires a Nevada Professional Applicator License and contractor-furnished herbicide and adjuvant. Evaluation uses a best-value trade-off approach across three factors: Technical Capability (demonstrating Nevada Professional Applicator License, technical approach, equipment, quality control plan, safety plan, GPS/GIS experience, and key personnel); Relevant Experience/Past Performance (at least three projects within the past five years); and Price. Technical and past performance are significantly more important than price. The Government anticipates a single firm fixed-price contract award.

Contractors must comply with Service Contract Labor Standards wage requirements under Wage Determination 1969-0113, which specifies prevailing wage rates ranging from $13.75 to $25.28 per hour across 14 occupational classifications plus fringe benefits. Contractors must also use electronic invoicing through the Invoice Processing Platform and provide past performance evaluations through CPARS. Amendment 1, effective July 7, 2026, addressed Q&A clarifications; quotes and supporting documents are submitted electronically to amanda_cline-rispress@ios.doi.gov by 1:00 PM Mountain Daylight Time on July 27.
