About this opportunity
The U.S. Embassy Brussels, operating under the Department of State, is soliciting quotations for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to supply electrical hardware and supplies. This BPA does not represent a firm financial commitment but rather establishes an overarching agreement enabling authorized personnel to request services as needed. Vendors must specialize in electrical hardware and supplies and submit indicative pricing information by the deadline of January 27, 2026 at 14:00 local time via email to BrusselsBids@state.gov. Key qualifications include maintaining a physical store within 35 kilometers of Brussels, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards, and demonstrating the ability to deliver diverse electrical hardware products. Performance will be evaluated based on timely delivery, material quality, and vendor responsiveness. All interested parties must register on the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) before submitting proposals if their business volume exceeds $40,000, and they must include the BPA ID #19BE2026Q0013 in their email subject line.
This procurement carries no set-aside designation and involves no identified incumbent contractors. The estimated total contract value is EUR 33,000 ($38,823.53) over the three-year performance period from February 1, 2026 through January 31, 2029, with individual orders capped at EUR 2,500 ($2,941.18) per transaction. The agreement prioritizes local vendors with convenient in-store pickup capabilities to support the embassy's operational needs. Performance of work will take place in Brussels, Belgium, where the selected vendor must maintain sufficient inventory and store accessibility to meet the embassy's requirements for electrical hardware across residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
