About this opportunity
The Department of the Army West Virginia Army National Guard (WVARNG) has issued a Pre-Solicitation Notice for Behavioral Health Counselor (BHC) services. The selected contractor will provide mental fitness and wellness support by identifying, tracking, and assisting service members with behavioral health concerns. This includes evaluating, monitoring, and linking at-risk personnel to available treatment resources. The contractor must employ licensed and qualified BHCs to perform duties such as conducting evaluations, making recommendations, coordinating care, and providing prevention and outreach programs. Key requirements include documenting cases in the electronic MEDCHART system, providing monthly reports, and maintaining a 24/7 crisis hotline.
This is a competitive 8(a) set-aside procurement. The government previously contracted these services under W912L8-19-P-0063. The anticipated NAICS code is 621330 Offices of Mental Health Practitioners (except Physicians) with a $9,000,000 size standard, although the government will consider other applicable NAICS codes. Interested parties are requested to submit capability statements by October 14, 2024, before 6:00 am EST. There is no solicitation at this time, and this is purely a market research effort.
