About this opportunity
The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Division of Intramural Research (DIR), Flow Cytometry Unit (FCU) is seeking to procure one (1) Becton Dickinson (BD) FACS Symphony S6 Cell Sorter system, or an equivalent system, that meets specific technical requirements. These requirements include the capacity to accommodate up to 50 parameters for deep immunophenotyping, 4 nozzle sizes, 6-way sorting capability, temperature control, and compatibility with existing equipment and software. The government is seeking small business sources to provide the required system and is using a Small Business Sources Sought Notice to identify potential vendors. Responses are due by August 16, 2024, and the government anticipates making a single firm-fixed price award on or about September 23, 2024. Delivery is required within 90 days.
