The standard delivery schedule mandates 150 units within 270 days of award (with Production Verification Testing) or 120 days without PVT, followed by 100 units monthly.

The item is classified as a commercial product under FAR Part 12. Technical requirements include ANSI/ASQ 9001:2015 quality management systems, MIL-STD-2073-1 military packaging with Level B preservation, and ballistic verification per NIJ 0106.01 (9mm Full Metal Jacket resistance at 1400 +50/-0 ft/sec, zero-degree obliquity). Contractors must conduct Production Verification Testing (43 units) and Lot Verification Testing (8–32 units by lot size) at Aberdeen Test Center per ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2008 AQL 4, with zero complete penetrations required for PVT acceptance. A one-year no-cost commercial warranty applies from Government acceptance. Evaluation criteria require "Acceptable" ratings on supplies/terms (technical specifications, quality assurance, delivery), past performance (six-year history in the same Federal Supply Class), and delivery schedule adherence. NAICS code 333310; PSC 5855.
