The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service seeks furnish and installation of two Variable Frequency Drives on Floating Platform Pump systems at Willow Beach National Fish Hatchery in Mohave County, Arizona, with quotations due July 16, 2026. Place of performance is Willow Beach, Arizona. The contractor must hold a valid contractor's license for mechanical work, employ qualified and licensed electricians, and demonstrate documented experience installing and commissioning VFD systems on industrial pump applications. All work must comply with the National Electrical Code, manufacturer installation requirements, and federal, state, and facility-specific safety regulations. The scope requires the contractor to furnish and install VFD units sized for each pump motor with appropriate external enclosures or door kits, verify existing electrical infrastructure compatibility, perform all electrical connections including power and control wiring and grounding, conduct comprehensive testing including soft-start operation and speed control performance, provide written test results and as-built documentation, and train facility staff. A minimum one-year warranty on labor and materials and manufacturer's warranty for major equipment are required.
Period of performance runs August 3 through November 2, 2026, with 90-day delivery required after award. AZ-WILLOW BEACH NFH
The US Fish and Wildlife Service Willow Beach National Fish Hatchery (NFH), in Mohave County, State of Arizona, has a requirement to furnish and install two new Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) on the Floating Platform Pumps system to improve operational efficiency, enhance flow control, and reduce electrical consumption.
Interested contractors are highly encouraged to conduct a site visit. Site visits are scheduled for Tuesday, July 7 and Thursday, July 9 at 9 am. See FAR clause 52.237-1 SITE VISIT in the solicitation documents for meeting location and point of contact.
