About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) for audio/visual (A/V) equipment design, installation, and maintenance services at Hill Air Force Base (HAFB) for the Sentinel program. The RFI seeks to identify potential contractors capable of meeting specific requirements, including the ability to be on-site within four hours of receiving a government order and possessing a DD-254 certification. Interested companies are asked to provide their company name, UEI code, point of contact information, and responses to specific capability questions. The primary NAICS code for this opportunity is 238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors), with a small business size standard of $19 million. Responses must be submitted to Contract Specialist Britanie Butler by 1:00 PM MST on April 3, 2025.
No specific set-aside designations are currently in place for this opportunity, and the RFI explicitly states that it is not a solicitation for proposals and will not result in a direct contract award. The government is conducting market research to develop its acquisition strategy and gather information about potential sources for the A/V equipment and installation services. Businesses are encouraged to provide their size classification, applicable certifications (such as 8(a), HUBZone, or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business), and suggest alternative NAICS codes if appropriate. While no specific budget or award value is mentioned, the size standard suggests potential contract opportunities up to $19 million. The timing for service delivery appears to prioritize rapid response, with the requirement for contractors to be on-site within four hours of receiving a government order.
