About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Space Command seeks an Automatic Direction-Finding Surveillance System for deployment at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida, with quotations due September 28, 2026 at 4:00 P.M. ET and questions due September 24, 2026 at 4:00 P.M. ET. This is full and open competition with no set-asides.
The system must monitor radio frequencies from 9 kHz to 40 GHz with bearing measurement capability from 300 MHz to 40 GHz using a fixed omnidirectional antenna array. It shall deliver a minimum 100 MHz instantaneous bandwidth with real-time sweep analysis, achieve 2.5 degree RMS bearing accuracy, and compensate for vehicle motion up to 60 mph and 45 degrees per second turn rate. The system must weigh no more than 100 pounds, fit within a 30-foot mast height, and function within half a mile of a launch pad while withstanding 125–135 dB acoustic levels, 0.1 psi overpressure, 0.2–0.5 inches/second peak particle velocity, and 0.1 kW/m² thermal radiation. Integration with existing CRFS sensors (100–40, 300–18, 300–40) and Mission Manager V2.13 software via open interfaces is required, as is relocation capability between vehicles and fixed building platforms. IQ recording and RF field strength measurement are mandatory. Delivery is required no later than February 1, 2027 with no phased delivery accepted. The system is unclassified with no CMMC or export control restrictions.
Quotations must be F.O.B. Destination to Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Building 1704, Room 1138 (marked for Eric Hu), with shipping costs included in total price. Offerors must provide estimated delivery time, warranty terms (minimum one year), and quote expiration date (minimum 60 calendar days). The Government will evaluate based on Technical Acceptability, Price, and Delivery Schedule, with price weighted as more important than delivery. Award goes to the responsible vendor whose technically acceptable quote represents best value. NAICS code 334220; PSC 5810.
