About this opportunity
Paragraph 1:
The U.S. Department of the Army's Materiel Command Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal is seeking information from potential contractors to provide a new turn-key Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) to replace the existing system at the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD). The contractor shall manufacture, deliver, and install the new ASRS, which includes 12 Automated Guided Vehicles, a Warehouse Management System, and integration with CCAD's SAP ERP system. Key requirements include adherence to cybersecurity standards, training, and meeting specific technical, performance, and documentation criteria. This is a pre-solicitation notice only, with responses to the Sources Sought Contractor Response Form due by April 4, 2024.
Paragraph 2:
This opportunity does not have a set-aside designation. The primary NAICS code is likely 333922 (Conveyor and Conveying Equipment Manufacturing), and the PSC code would be 3695 (Storage and Materials Handling Equipment). The current ASRS system is no longer supportable, so there is no incumbent contractor. The government has not provided any award value or budget information at this time. The new ASRS solution must be completed within 24 months of contract award.
