About this opportunity
The National Park Service requires auto tour route signs for the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail across multiple locations in California and Arizona. The procurement involves manufacturing and delivering road signs made from anodized aluminum with High Intensity Prismatic retroreflective sheeting, featuring white text on brown backgrounds with official trail insignia and anti-graffiti protection coating. Signs must be delivered within 30 days after receipt of order to specified locations, with delivery requirements including proper bundling and marking for each destination. The government will evaluate offers based on price, delivery date, and past performance using a best value approach, with awards made to vendors providing the most advantageous combination of these factors. The solicitation closes at 5:00 p.m. Pacific time on July 22, 2025, and offerors must acknowledge Amendment 0002 which clarifies the aluminum thickness requirement as .125 gauge.
This procurement is designated as a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 339950 with a size standard of 500 employees, and there is no previous contractor as this represents a new requirement. The contract includes a base period from August 1, 2025 to July 31, 2026, covering 10 base locations including various California counties and Caltrans districts, plus 8 optional locations that may include Santa Clara County, Monterey County, and Pima County. Sign specifications include multiple configurations ranging from 24" by 24" panels to 36" by 36" main panels with corresponding 36" by 18" lower panels, as well as directional arrow panels. The contract structure uses firm fixed pricing with lump sum quantities for each location, and the government has not disclosed budget information. Performance will occur at 440 Civic Center Plaza #300, Richmond, CA 94804, with delivery destinations spanning multiple California counties and Arizona locations.
