About this opportunity

The Department of Justice Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives seeks to procure audio-visual forensic workstations through a firm-fixed-price IDIQ contract, with proposals due August 9, 2026 at 4:00 PM ET and questions due July 31, 2026 at 4:00 PM ET. This is a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS code 334111 (Electronic Computer Manufacturing).

Place of performance is Sterling, Virginia (with government distribution to secondary locations in Norfolk, Virginia). Delivery is required within 60 days of contract award, F.O.B. Destination.

The procurement anticipates a single award with a cumulative contract ceiling of $325,000 across the entire period of performance. The base year requires three workstations; Option Year One and Option Year Two each require one workstation. Minimum order is $5,000.

All components must be new (no refurbished or recycled parts). The workstations must feature an AMD Ryzen Threadripper processor (384 MB L3 cache, 96 cores, 192 threads, 2.5–5.1 GHz) or equivalent single-socket configuration with equal or better performance; Windows 11 Pro 64-bit; AMD WRX90 motherboard chipset; 512GB DDR5 5600 MHz RAM expandable to 2TB; NVIDIA RTXPro 6000 graphics card with 96GB+ VRAM; storage comprising 1TB NVMe OS drive, 2TB SSD temp/swap drive, 8TB SSD processing drive, and 48TB HDD RAID (4x12TB preferred); Tableau T356789iu forensic bridge and dual Tableau T3iu write blockers (installed and tested prior to delivery); multi-bay tower chassis with six or more 5.25-inch drive bays; 1600W power supply for continuous 24/7 operation; Wi-Fi 6E/7 triband; specified USB/USB4, HDMI, DisplayPort, and gigabit NIC connectivity; DVD/Blu-Ray optical drive; ASIO-compatible 7.1 audio; and 3-year warranty covering the overall workstation.

Evaluation criteria are technical capability/quality (meeting or exceeding specifications with minimum 3-year warranty), past performance on three relevant federal contracts within the last three years, and price (all-inclusive of shipping). All pricing must be submitted via completed Government-provided worksheets. Offerors must complete and submit all required attachments; failure to do so renders the quote non-responsive.

Contractor must maintain active SAM registration prior to award. Questions are due July 31, 2026 at 4:00 PM ET. Amendments 0001–0003 updated contractual limitations, technical specifications (final update August 4, 2026), Statement of Work, and past performance evaluation criteria; removed FAR 52.219-33 and prior instructions attachment; and emphasized mandatory completion of all solicitation clauses and attachments.
